Private workshops

Welcome to our little selfsustainable red wooden farm in the woods in the midst of Sweden. Here, in an old barn, scandinavian fairytales can be made. Using the soft material of wool, listening to the birds and with the sun on our face, we are going to experiment with the old crafts of felting, spinning and plant dying. You will  learn how to take good care of yourself and your family, by becoming able to create your own garn, clothes and interior design, only with the use of sustainable materials. It is time to change the world!

When: Available every weekday between 5 juli and 31 august 2023. Send me an email about which class and which day you would like to attend

Cost: A daily class lasts from 10:00 to 16:00 and costs 300 euro pp (approximately 3300 kr ) material excluded for a privat workshop. When you want to join a group workshop, send me a message and we try to fix a date with a group. A workshop in a small group costs 90 euro pp (1000 sek). You can make one item of your choice this day, you will get my full attention and the skills to make more of this item by yourself when you are finished with the class. When you contact me, we decide a day and item and will take care that everything you need will be available on the course day.

Language: I am originally  Dutch, but  I also speak Swedish and English fluently.

Stay: Our farm is situated in the midst of the woods, hidden in the valley of the hills ‘Kilsbergen’, also called ‘the blue mountains’.  There is a nature preservation area nearby and there are several walkingpaths surrounding the farm (for instance the famous ’bergslagsleden’) that will take you to the wilderness: deserted areas with quiet and fresh healthy lakes with names as ‘the sorcerer’. In the summertime you can pick blueberries , raspberries, wild strawberries and mushrooms, everywhere in the woods. Just a half hour walk away (or a 5 minutes drive) is a wonderful and clean lake with bathing beach, camping and a little restaurant. 

There are different options available for you to stay either on our farm or in the neighborhood. From a simple standard towards more luxury; please contact me if you would like to stay in the neighborhood so I can provide you of all the information/details.
